RISING is located in the heart of Buford, and Buford is in the heart of RISING. That’s why we walk alongside people, ministries, and organizations all trying to support the community in this city.
Somos Ecclesia
Buford is a culturally diverse area with a high Spanish-speaking population. Our partner church, Somos Ecclesia, exists to help serve and walk alongside this community. They gather to worship on Sundays at 1:30 here at 710 Power Ave.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
There are children in our city who sleep on the floor every night in our city. That’s why we work with SHP helping to host bed construction builds that go directly to kids right here in Buford.
The Block
On any given night, there are an estimated 10,000 people sleeping on the streets in Gwinnett County. We’ve partnered with The Block to help provide food, clothes, and hygiene products that are made available at the Buford Public Library for those who need it most.
Path United
There are children living in mobile home park communities in Buford who lack resources to help them thrive in school. We support Path United as they help provide educational support and mentorship that lead to a path for a better future in their lives.
North Gwinnett Co-Op
Sometimes people need assistance getting access to affordable basic life necessities like food and clothing. That’s why we send volunteers to our local co-op help sort and organize resources for those who need it most in Buford.
