Why We Exist

Our mission at RISING is to lead everyone into a deeper and more vibrant relationship with Jesus. We believe that happens best through personal relationships and connections with one another. To help us accomplish this, we hold to these values and beliefs for guidance:

 We believe in a powerful God.

We know and expect that God is able to do things that are beyond ourselves. We dream big dreams and pray boldly for God to do great things in and through us.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

 We feast on God’s Word.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and inherently has power to give direction and transform lives.

We are His witnesses.

We serve and love others from here in Gwinnett County all the way to the ends of the earth. God calls us to love and serve the least and the lost throughout our world.

We worship God passionately and joyfully.

We will offer all that we have to praise God for who He is and what He has done for us.

We invest in the next generation.

We do whatever it takes to share the Gospel with children and youth in a relevant manner.

We grow together.

We are intentional about developing relationships with one another, encouraging and supporting one another to love God and to seek Him with all that we are.

We are innovative.

We seek to engage the culture and time we live in for God’s honor and glory, utilizing God-given creativity to compel the next generation to Him.

We believe everyone has a God-given role to play.

We support, encourage, and empower everyone to discover the purpose God has uniquely created and designed them for.

We are people of integrity.

We conduct ourselves with integrity so we can glorify God and create a healthy community.

We are transparent.

We provide honest and consistent communication regarding church finances, procedures, and processes so we can create a culture of accountability and trust.

Free from the burden of debt, we are able to focus our resources and energy on the work God has called us to do.
