First Time at RISING?
👋 Hey There!
We’re glad you decided to check us out. RISING Church is a community of people who love
Jesus, and we’d love for you to be a part of it! We’re passionate about seeing people grow into a
deeper and more vibrant relationship with God, and believe it’s easier to do with people who
care about you.
How We Do Sunday Mornings
Visiting a new church can be pretty overwhelming. Here’s what you can expect on a Sunday
morning at RISING:
- We meet together on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:45 AM to worship God and hear a
teaching from the Bible.
- Our parking lot might seem small, but we promise we have a space just for you! Flash
your headlights at any Parking Team member wearing a yellow vest, and they’ll make
sure you get a great parking spot.
- Once you arrive, you can stop by the café for a free cup of coffee before heading into the
sanctuary for worship.
- If you’re worried about us asking you for money, don’t! We don’t pass offering plates on
Sunday, so there’s absolutely no pressure to give when you visit us.
If you want to get a better idea of what to expect on a Sunday morning, why not watch a service online before visiting us?
What’s Sunday Like for My Kids?
Students are kind of a big deal here at RISING. Whether your kids were just born or are about
to graduate high school, we have communities for them to grow in any stage of life.
Infants – 6th Grade
At our 9:00 service, we offer complete kids programming for infants through 6th grade. Once you check them in at the front lobby, we’ll help you get them to their age group where they’ll quickly get to make friends with other kids their age as they learn about God together.
At the 10:45 service, kids 4 and up will join the service for family worship followed by a children’s ministry lesson upstairs during the sermon.
If you want to learn more, feel free to reach out to our Children’s Pastor, Deanna Porter, at email@example.com.
6th – 12th Grade
Middle and high school students worship with the entire RISING family during either the 9:00 or 10:45 services. They gather for RISE in the café from 10:30-10:45. RISE is a great chance to grab a donut and make some new friends.
6th graders can also come to our upRISING class during the 9:00 service.
If you want to learn more, feel free to reach out to our Youth Pastor, Blaine Tiller, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Go Beyond Sunday
Church was never meant to just be a Sunday morning thing. It’s about living in an intentional
community with other people who want to pursue Jesus together. That’s why we have plenty of
ways for you and your kids to get involved during the week.
