SuperStart is a 2-day conference designed specifically for preteens. Beginning Friday evening and finishing Saturday late-afternoon, the event showcases worship leaders, speakers, and activities designed to introduce preteens to the ultimate conference experience and deepen their relationship with Christ and each other.

“But (Jesus) said, ‘Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!’” Luke 11:28

Imagine your favorite video game. You’re at the moment where everything hangs in the balance. One wrong move and your player could die, but if you play the game just right you’ll make it to the next level and eventually win the game. It’s the perfect time for a “Power Up” – that critical gift or ability that you didn’t have before, but it helped you advance and win.

In the game of life, however, for a preteen it can often seem like the odds are stacked against them. But God tells us that’s not true. He tells us that He’s on our side, and He gives us a tool, a “Power Up” to help us through life. That “Power Up” is His Word. By exploring Luke 11:28 and plugging into the world of video games, SuperStart’s mission this year is to help preteens understand the important role of God’s Word in facing life’s tough situations.

Located conveniently close, we have the option to offer this conference at a discounted price, and kids will get to sleep in their own beds since we won’t have to reserve hotel rooms! We will meet at Peachtree Ridge Park for drop-off and pick-up each day, except for Saturday afternoon, when we’ll meet at our surprise location.

Highlights for the weekend include: high-energy worship, lunch, bowling, and arcade time at Stars and Strikes, dramatic skits that challenge preteens to think and explore, Biblical teaching to encourage, and active games.
