Join the 111 Project in Meeting the Needs of Gwinnett Families

We have an exciting opportunity to  help out in the foster care community that will be starting in the next couple of weeks.  Gwinnett County is partnering with local churches using a careportal which will notify us of needs directly from the case managers.  If you’re interested in getting these needs passed onto you, please send me your name and email.  I will add you onto Rising Church’s email list.  When a need arises, I will then forward that need directly to those on the list.  Needs may range from tangible items such as a car seat or bed, to giving our time mentoring or meeting a transportation need.  Afterward, you just respond to the need if you’re able to help out.  This is an exciting new adventure for the foster care system and us at Rising Church.  Here is a link that explains the care portal better.

If you would like to participate please email Theresa Catlin with your contact info.  By us stepping up to help out, we may help keep a child out of foster care.  Thank you for your willingness to help.
